Finally it is here ! The one and only Auto Publish Content Plugin on frontpage for Joomla! 1.5
If you are like me and write a lot of articles with Microsoft Live Writer or w.Bloggar you don’t want to go to your Joomla! admin and set the article you just created to showon the front page.
No, you want this to happen automatically.

So how do you use this on the demo server, can’t seem to work it out. Looks like a great plugin I’d be interested to use
Hi, well on the demo site it is a bit difficult to show.
Or I should put open the backend. I did that a long time ago, and then my demo site got hacked every night and I had to do a rebuild of the site every day.
So I don’t have a sollution yet for this. If you have a great idea for this please let me know.
I have it working on a couple of my customer sites now, and they are very happy about it.

I have to admit this plugin doesn’t make any sense to me. If I use an offline editor like microsoft word to make 5 articles, how do I get those 5 articles to appear on my joomla home page? I got your plugin but only saw that it made unpublished articles in the front page section appear. From what I can understand it would seem I still have to paste in my multiple articles into joomla article manager. If so, it is just as each to select for each one to publish on front page.
When I first read about your plugin I got the understanding I could set up the plugin, then visit my home page with my articles in my text editor, and somehow those articles would end up published on my homepage, saving me from having to log into my admin, into the article manager and inputting each one. But it seems it doesn’t work that way, now that I have installed your plugin.
Is the purpose of your plugin to just have all articles you insert manually into the Article Manager appear on the home page? Or will it publish automatically your articles into joomla by your just visiting your home page?

Well this is not a publishing tool. It’s an auto publisher for your site when using tools like Microsoft Live Writer. It is simply impossible to create a tool that makes your MS Word a publishing tool.
So my suggestion to you is. Start using Microsoft Live Writer (http://windowslivewriter.spaces.live.com) and use it with my Auto Publisher. That is what you are searching for.
So yes my plugin is to automaticly publish your articles on your frontpage when writing articles with Microsoft Live Writer and/or w.bloggar.
Microsoft Live Writer is like / and works like MS Word.
