Well, sometimes I think what is wrong with this world?

As you know I sell small plugins, modules and hacks for Joomla! on this site. I use a small plugin for the webshop part and sometimes the selling / emailing codes to the customer goes wrong.

Most customers just mail me and say, hey I did not receive any download keys could you help me please. And in 99% I help them within a few hours, at most 24 hours.

But some people cannot wait and get angry with me, like this guy Carl Farrington (http://carlfarrington.com/).

He tries to buy the Auto Publish Content for Joomla! 1.5 plugin for Joomla!

He does this at 5:08. unfortunately paypal tells my system that the payment had failed. Or my system thinks it failed. I don’t know, and it does not matter. At 5:08 I am asleep so Carl has to wait till I wake.

At 5:35 he sends me this mail:

I ordered your auto publish plugin…. no email received with download info…..
people dont like to wait once they pay for products anymore….. do you need
help setting up digital downloads….. it would seem you should know this
already… unless this is a scam.. something not right……..

Okay… well my selling is not a scam… the system just screwed up.

At 5:38 he sends me this mail:

Keep the stupid 1.50 Euros…. but i will post on the joomla.org what a cheap
ripoff you are…. fucker

Wow… not very nice, this guy is frustrated right ?

At 5:39 he sends me this mail:

 

You need to have your paypal shutdown for ripping people off

He also tries to put his frustration onto my blog in the comments, but they are moderated.

So tell me what is wrong with this world ? What is wrong with people? They don’t even bother to let them be helped, or wait to be helped.

They don’t wait, they just are to frustrated.

So… this is what I mailed him at 8:23

Wow, your a nice guy.

You might ask your self, lets give the selling party a day or so to react to my initial question and than tell him he’s no good.

I just saw your mails and checked the system. Paypal has send a payment failure to my system. Sometimes that happens.

I checked and payment came out okay, so I would have to send the mail with codes manually.

However, the way you speak to me in your emails is not very nice. Not even giving me a change.

So to bad but I’m not helping you any further.

if you wann to complain at joomla, go a head. I got all your mail. I think the guys at Joomla will also not apriciate the way you talk to people and nog giving them a change to help you.
