Joomla! / Virtuemart / WordPress Excel Export

Joomla! / Virtuemart / WordPress Excel Export

I am currently working on a export tool that exports all kind of information from Joomla! / VirtueMart / WordPress or any other mysql database driven E-Shop / CMS / Social or Business site.

If you like to have a export to excel to, let’s say, have all your daily selling’s from your site you can easily use my tool.

It’s easy to setup and you can have multiple exports (to one excel) or have multiple cronjobs creating the excel, which sends it to your email address.

If you like more information about this tool, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

The export tool will cost you 25 euro (± 30 dollar) and you will get one free export query from me. (you can always create more query’s yourself)

Joomla! to WordPress htaccess url rewrite

Well, one of the main problems for me to go from joomla! to wordpress were my SEF Urls.

Google (and other search engines) knows or knew all the right (but old Joomla!) urls to my pages and I did not want to lose that.

Of course going from Joomla! to WordPress that would be a problem.

If you are using sh404sef I have part of the sollution for you.

Joomla! to WordPress

Before you go from joomla! to WordPress you have to reconsider really doing this.

It took me about 2 days (2x 8 hours) and a big headache.

I only had around 50 articles in Joomla! but it was enough to drive me crazy.

Joomla2WordPress import wizard with UTF-8 support

I recently switched from Joomla! over to WordPress. One major step which was preventing me from making the move for so long was the export process.

Then I found a post on azeemkhan.info which had a wizard which would allow you to move the content over. But there was a problem. It did not support UTF-8 sites like Joomla! 1.5 So I decided to take this script and change it to a working script with UTF-8 support.
